A Partnership Built on Performance

Road Course Academy (RCA), in collaboration with Gedlich Racing and Razoon Racing, is proud to launch the inaugural GT Summer Series Shootout — a professional driver evaluation held at the iconic Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

This 2.5-day shootout has been designed to identify drivers ready to step into a true professional GT racing environment. Participants will be assessed under equal conditions using real race-team standards, not promises or reputation.

One standout driver will be selected to compete with Razoon Racing in the 2026 GT Summer Series, securing a fully supported race seat for the season.

    (Half day on 22 February)

Participation

There is no cost to apply.
Only drivers who are successfully selected to attend the shootout will be required to confirm their place with the standard shootout entry fee.

Places are strictly limited to ensure meaningful track time and professional evaluation, and selection is competitive.

The Ultimate Pathway Into Professional GT Racing

From 22–24 February 2026, selected drivers from around the world will take part in a 2.5-day professional shootout designed to identify drivers ready for the next step in GT racing.

This is not a single test or coaching day.
It is a structured, high-performance evaluation built around real race-team standards.

What the Shootout Includes

Drivers will be assessed across both on-track and off-track performance, including:

  • Multiple GT driving stints supported by Razoon Racing

  • Professional data analysis and performance benchmarking

  • Racecraft, consistency, and adaptability evaluation

  • Driver fitness and mental performance assessment

  • Media presence and communication readiness

The programme mirrors how professional teams evaluate drivers — combining performance, preparation, and professionalism.

Shootout Participation

The GT Summer Series Shootout runs over 2.5 days and delivers one of the most comprehensive GT talent evaluations currently available in Europe.

Only drivers who are successfully selected to attend the shootout are required to confirm their place with the standard shootout entry fee.

The shootout is delivered collaboratively by Road Course Academy, Gedlich Racing, and Razoon Racing, ensuring consistency, fairness, and equal conditions for all participants.

Drivers are responsible for their own:

  • Travel and accommodation

  • Race equipment and apparel

  • Insurance and personal expenses

This ensures all participants are evaluated on equal footing, with the focus placed purely on performance and readiness.

The Prize: A Seat in the 2026 GT Summer Series

One standout driver from the Barcelona Shootout will be selected to compete in the 2026 GT Summer Series with Razoon Racing.

The winning driver will receive:

  • A race seat with Razoon Racing in the 2026 GT Summer Series

  • Full integration into a professional European GT team environment

  • Season-long representation as an RCA driver

  • Access to a proven GT racing platform designed to showcase emerging talent

The season consists of five multi-day events, each featuring structured practice, qualifying, two sprint races (2 × 30 minutes), and a 50-minute pit stop race.

Who Can Register

The GT Summer Series Shootout is open to drivers who:

  • Hold a valid motorsport competition licence

  • Have prior racing or relevant testing experience

  • Demonstrate physical, mental, and technical readiness for GT-level competition

  • Are committed to progressing toward professional motorsport pathways
