GT SUMMER SERIES SHOOTOUT – TERMS & CONDITIONS

Operated by MMR International Pty Ltd (trading as Road Course Academy, “RCA”)

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all applicants (“Participants”) for the GT Summer Series Shootout (“Event”).
By submitting the entry form, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms.

1. NATURE OF THE EVENT

1.1. The GT Summer Series Shootout is a paid competitive motorsport evaluation event held from 22–24 February 2026 at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

1.2. The Event provides Participants with the opportunity to compete for one (1) racing seat in the 2026 GT Summer Series with Razoon Racing (“Prize”).

1.3. Participation in the Event does not guarantee selection as the Winner.

1.4. Acceptance into the Event is at the sole discretion of RCA following application review.

1.5. The Participant acknowledges that this is a professional sporting evaluation, and participation is not a consumer service, nor is it covered by standard consumer guarantees.

2. WINNER SELECTION

2.1. Only one (1) Winner will be chosen at the conclusion of the Event.

2.2. The Winner will be selected based on speed, consistency, safety, communication, physical and media assessments, professionalism, and any criteria determined exclusively by RCA.

2.3. The Winner will receive a racing seat with Razoon Racing for the 2026 GT Summer Series.

2.4. The Prize is contingent on Razoon Racing’s operational capacity, schedule, and technical availability, all of which may change without liability to RCA.

2.5. RCA’s decisions regarding evaluation, scoring, and selection are final, binding, and not subject to appeal, review, or challenge.

3. ENTRY FEE, PAYMENT & REFUNDS

3.1. Participants accepted into the Event must pay the Entry Fee of €14,500 in full to secure their place.

3.2. All payments are strictly non-refundable, including but not limited to:

• withdrawal for any reason,
  
• illness, injury, or medical inability to participate,
  
• travel, flight, or visa issues,
  
• personal circumstances or financial changes,
  
• removal for breach of these Terms or unsafe conduct,
  
• Event adjustments, rescheduling, or format changes deemed necessary by RCA.
  

3.3. Failure to pay by the deadline results in forfeiture of participation.

4. ASSUMPTION OF RISK, MEDICAL FITNESS & LIABILITY WAIVER

4.1. Motorsport is inherently dangerous and may involve injury, death, or property damage.

4.2. The Participant voluntarily assumes all risks associated with participating in the Event.

4.3. Negligence Waiver:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Participant releases RCA from all liability, including liability arising from RCA’s own negligence, acts, or omissions.

4.4. RCA, its staff, contractors, and partners are not liable for:

• injury or death,
  
• loss or damage to property,
  
• financial or consequential loss,
  
• vehicle damage of any type.
  
  

4.5. Vehicle Damage (Fault or No Fault):
The Participant accepts full financial responsibility for all vehicle damage, whether at fault or not, and acknowledges that the team’s assessment of cause and cost is final.

4.6. The Participant warrants they are medically fit to participate and accepts full responsibility for any health issues arising during or after the Event.

4.7. The Participant must obtain personal accident, medical, and travel insurance at their own expense.

5. TRAVEL, LICENSING, RACEWEAR & EQUIPMENT

5.1. RCA does not provide flights, accommodation, visas, transport, or logistical arrangements.

5.2. Participants must hold a valid motorsport competition licence appropriate for the Event.

5.3. Participants must bring their own full racewear, including:

• FIA-approved race suit,
  
• helmet,
  
• gloves, boots, HANS device,
  
• any other mandatory safety equipment.
  
  

5.4. RCA does not provide helmets, racewear, HANS devices, gloves, boots, or personal equipment.

5.5. Participants must provide accurate physical and medical details to facilitate safety and proper seat fitting.

6. ADDITIONAL FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Participants—including the Winner—are fully responsible for:

6.1. Flights, accommodation, meals, and local transport;
6.2. Visa applications, passports, and travel documentation;
6.3. Personal insurance;
6.4. Costs of any additional test days before, during, or after the 2026 season;
6.5. ALL vehicle damage, whether the Participant is responsible or not;
6.6. Damage caused by negligence, mechanical misuse, or failure to follow instruction;
6.7. Any expense not explicitly covered in Razoon Racing’s 2026 GT Summer Series budget.

6.8. RCA is not responsible for any incidental or unforeseen costs.

 

7. CONDUCT, SAFETY & REMOVAL

7.1. Participants must comply fully with all safety requirements and instructions from RCA, Razoon Racing, engineers, and circuit officials.

7.2. Grounds for immediate removal include, but are not limited to:

• unsafe or reckless driving,
  
• aggression or threatening behaviour,
  
• intoxication or substance use,
  
• refusal to follow instructions,
  
• unprofessional conduct on or off track,
  
• social media misconduct,
  
• breach of confidentiality,
  
• any behaviour damaging to RCA or Razoon Racing’s reputation.
  

7.3. Removal results in forfeiture of the Entry Fee.

8. MEDIA RIGHTS & PUBLICITY

8.1. The Participant grants RCA perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free rights to capture, use, edit, publish, and distribute their image, voice, likeness, and performance for promotional, editorial, and commercial purposes.

8.2. The Participant consents to publication of their name and nationality.

8.3. Participants must participate in reasonable interviews and media activities.

8.4. The Winner must represent the RCA brand professionally throughout the 2026 GT Summer Series.

9. EVENT MODIFICATION OR CANCELLATION

9.1. RCA reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel the Event due to:

• weather conditions,
  
• circuit restrictions,
  
• safety concerns,
  
• operational issues,
  
• force majeure events.
  

9.2. If the Event is cancelled, RCA may offer a rescheduled date or credit at its discretion. Refunds are not guaranteed.

10. ACCURACY OF INFORMATION

10.1. Participants must provide truthful, complete, and accurate information.

10.2. Providing false or misleading information may result in removal from the Event and forfeiture of all fees.

11. DATA STORAGE & PRIVACY

11.1. Participants consent to RCA storing and processing their data for Event administration, safety, communication, and promotional purposes.

11.2. Data will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

 

12. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

12.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

12.2. Any dispute shall first be submitted to binding arbitration in NSW before litigation.

12.3. If litigation occurs, the courts of NSW have exclusive jurisdiction.

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By submitting the entry form, the Participant confirms that they:

• • have read, understood, and accept these Terms & Conditions in full;
    
    
  • accept all risks associated with motorsport participation;
    
    
  • understand the Prize is a 2026 GT Summer Series seat and only one Winner will be chosen;
    
    
  • agree to the strict non-refundable Entry Fee;
    
    
  • acknowledge they are fully responsible for all travel, equipment, additional test-day costs, and vehicle damage (fault or no fault);
    
    

• confirm they are medically fit to participate;
  
  

• agree to the media rights, conduct requirements, and liability waivers.
