Sydney, Australia Road Course Academy (RCA) is proud to announce a landmark partnership with Gedlich Racing and Razoon Racing to stage the first GT Summer Series Shootout, a high-performance driver evaluation program that will give one exceptional driver the chance to secure a paid seat in the 2026 GT Summer Series.
Taking place over 2.5 elite days from 22–24 February 2026 at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, the Shootout will bring together selected drivers from around the world to compete in one of the most comprehensive and professionally structured talent identification programs in modern motorsport. This collaboration unites three organisations committed to developing the next generation of GT racing talent, combining RCA’s global shootout model with Gedlich Racing’s world-class event infrastructure and Razoon Racing’s proven engineering and race-winning pedigree.
A Breakthrough Opportunity for Emerging Talent
Drivers will undergo a multi-stage evaluation that includes:
- Professional on-track testing with GT-spec race cars
- Data analysis and performance benchmarking
- Consistency, pace, racecraft, and adaptability assessments
- Physical and mental capability checks
- Media and communication readiness evaluation
At the conclusion of the program, one standout driver will be awarded a race seat with Razoon Racing for the 2026 GT Summer Series, marking a life-changing step into European GT competition. The winning driver will represent the RCA brand throughout the season while competing at circuits across Europe.

Only a limited number of places are available, and shortlisted applicants will be invited to participate in the three-day Shootout in Barcelona.
